Brighton Braves 10, Brighton Black Sox 9
A match-up of Brighton aces as JT Ross and Mike Smith face off at Rogers. Ross would get the better of the match-up going 6 allowing 3 runs and striking out 6 but ended up with a no-decision. Greeley earns the win with a scoreless 7th.
Braves go up 2 in the 3rd on RBIs by Robb (2-5,R,3RBI) and Botelho (2-4,3RBI). But the Sox jump all over Smith in the 4th sending 11 batters to the plate, collecting 7 hits and scoring 7 runs.
With Ross out after 5, the Braves chipped away in the 6th and 7th. Their 2-5 hitters scored 7 runs in the 2 innings. And after tying the score in the 7th, the Braves had bases loaded and no outs when Ryan Bere lined a single between 3rd and short for the walk-off win.
Coscione (5-5,3B,4R,SB) and Uberti (3-3,2BB,2 RBI,SB) were the offensive stars for the Braves. For the Black Sox it was Beulke (4-5,2R,RBI,SB) and Collins (3-4,2 RBI,R).
