McKay Club & Braves played their first game of 2004 at frosty Ronan Park. Great pitching some tremendous defensive plays and an unfortunate hit batsman highlited this encounter. McKay Club prevailed by scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th for victory. Justin Olewnik was the McKay Club starter. He went 4 solid innings. Justin allowed only 1 run on 1 hit. He K'd 7 Braves. Olewnik was on an 80 pitch count and was removed in favor of Brian Schilling in the 5th. Schill was only available for one inning and did his best. The Braves went ahead on three singles in that inning. Veteran, John Nee came in and closed the door on Brighton. Neezo pitched the 6th & 7th for victory. John did not allow a run, while giving up 2 hits and walking three. Good defensive play saved Neezo. The Club scored 2 runs on 3 Brave errors and a hit batsman (Rob Linn) with the bases loaded to win in the bottom of the 7th.
