The Maddogs made it two in a row on the back of starting pitcher Blaine Lewis. Lewis pitched into the 8th allowing only 2 hits, both coming after there were two outs in the last of the 7th inning. Lewis k'd 8, walked 2 and hit a batter. Sean Gildea came in and shut the door in the last two innings to pick up the win, striking out 3 along the way. Mike Maguire provided all the offense that was needed with a 2-run bomb in the top of the 9th. Catcher Sean Connell added an insurance run with a two out single.
