It was a seesaw game at Ronan Park last night. Southie jumped out to a 2-0 lead. In the fourth Chelsea stormed back with 4 to take the lead. Chelsea's Kevin McGovern left the game after pitching 5 complete with a 4-2 lead. In the 6th Southie scored 6 to take a 8-4 lead.
Chelsea did not quit as they stormed back to score 3 in the 7th. With a 8-7 lead and the tieing run on 2nd Southie's Tim Dacey got the dangerous Chelsea batter to pop up to Manny Paula to end the game. |
