Adam Del Rio gets the win, hurling 6in of 4 hit ball while striking out 6. With the A's up 2-1 after the second inning, Deli buckled down and pitched out of several jams in the 3rd and 4th to keep the game close. In the 5th though, Steve Lambert put the A's up by 2 on a solo HR to RF. All was quiet until the top of the 7th. Del Rio led off the inning with a single and moved up to second on a fielders choice but was eventually picked off at 2nd base. With the Rockies down to their last out and down 2, Aj Bucciarelli, Ned Coffee and Chris Santosuosso all single to load the bases. Tony Iafolla works a 1-2 count for a BB scoring Bucciarelli and setting the stage for Sean Glavin, who on a 1-0 pitch, laces a bases clearing double to left center field to put the Rockies up 5-3.
