Those one bad inning blues struck South End Astros hard throwing pitcher Santos Gonzales in the 3rd inning as the Hornets plated 6 runs on 4 walks and 3 hits. Ouch! Hornet pitcher Jay "Doctor" Sholl had his left hand full with the league leading .305 batting Astro hitters. They banged out a whopping 10 hits but the Doctor manged the game well and got key outs when he needed them holding the Astros big hitters to just 5 runs. Savin Hill's flame throwing closer and catcher Nate Hodor finished the job for the Doctor getting the final out on a blistering fast ball past catcher Juan Hereaux to close out the game. Savin Hill's pepperpot SS Mike Mori added some excitement in the early going with his inside the park 4 bagger in the 3rd as the speedy shortstop slid safely into the plate just ahead of the relay throw.
