The Rockies and Devils lock up for another close one in 2007. Rockies' All Star right-hander Tom Levett strikes out a season-high nine batters as he moves to 4-1. He lowers his ERA to under 1 as he goes 6 1/3 innings for the win, scattering 3 hits and picking off 2 baserunners. Leadoff hitter Pete John (2-3, SB) scored in the first on an error and doubled in the other Rockies run in the second. That's where the scoring ended as West Roxbury's Putney settled down and would not allow another runner to cross the plate. Closer Jason Wisner shut the door with one on in the 7th, striking out both batters he faced en route to his league leading sixth save.
