Scotty Lynch kept up the solid pitching that the Maddogs have been getting all year. In his first start of the year Scott went 5 innings giving up 2 runs on 5 hits and 3 walks while striking out 5. Scott got the win in his first decision. Mike Hudd, in his first appearence on the mound got the save. Hudd went 2 innings of scoreless ball striking out 2. Joe Sheehan and Buddy Hanley each scored twice and Jay Sablone knocked in 2 to lead the offense. Sheehan may have made the catch of the year in left field off the bat of Columbo. Joe turned and ran down a bomb catching it in the shadows of Rogers Field.
