The Blue Sox improved to 5-5 on the season behind a true gem spun by Dave DiCenso. DiCenso went the distance striking out nine en route to a 2 hit shutout of the Brookline Dodgers. The game was scorless heading into the 7th as Masterson and DiCenso were locked in a pitcher's duel. Mike Navarro led off the top of the 7th with a single followed by a Steve Walsh single. Donnie King then cleared the bases with a 2 run scoring triple, Mike Norsen then doubled King home and that was all DiCenso needed. Paul DeLeo also collected 3 hits for the Blue Sox.
