ATBC made the trip up to Malden with Archibald on the bump. Like a veteran, he went 6 scoreless innings, scattering only a few hits. Will Clang came in to slam the door in the 7th for a combined shut out. Offensively, the A's struggled at first, producing only a run through 5. In the top of the 6th, James Katsiroubas broke the game open with a 2 out 2-run home run to give the A's some long sought insurance runs.
