Beautiful day for a ballgame at Jim Rice Field as the West Roxbury Nationals, new to the YBL in 2013, notched their first franchise win against a strong South End Astros team. Paul Szydlowski made his first start since 2012 elbow surgery, and rookie Dave Silletti provided both relief pitching and offense to help power a 16-7 victory for the Nats. The club, comprised mostly of YBL rookies, will hand the ball to another rookie on Tuesday the 21st for the 2nd of 3 games this week between the clubs.
