JT Ross battled through some walks to pick up his first win of the season strong innings. Eddie Samp pitches the seventh to pick up the save. Offensively the Sox were able to capitalize on a bases loaded opportunity in the third to score the runs needed for the win. Jason Sementelli and Tim Varakis each had two RBI. South End played a solid game and were able to get runners on in both the sixth and seventh inning only to come up just short. Gabriel Solis pitched very well in relief for the Astros.
