The bad boys of the park league continue to roll. Over the last 8 games Palmer is averaging 10.1 runs a game and are outscoring opponents 81-33 per the stat-casting team. Those guys are working late night over on Broadway street in South Boston crunching those types of numbers. "Moose" Bussiere shined again for Palmer going 5 strong innings and allowing only 1 earned run and scattering 3 hits. Kyle Zembsh came in for the final 2 innings to close things out. Big contributors on the night came from Palmer youngsters. Jack Magane was 3-4 including a double, drove in 3 runs, and scored 2 himself. Matt Falvey was 2-2 on the night adding 2 walks, 1 RBI, a pair of stolen bases, and 1 run scored on the night. MILESTONE ALERT- Chris Hoyt was able to get over the hump and reach career hit #300. The crowd went wild at Towne Field and the ball was collected for the old veteran Hoyt. Hoyt was overwhelmed with joy and quite possibly shed some tears.

Palmer keeps the streak going. Tony Trafecanty threw a complete game scattering 4 hits and 3 runs over 7 innings. The strong performance gave the Palmer bullpen a much needed night off. Palmer was able to muster up enough offense in this one and really capitalized in the second inning. Under immense pressure with the bases loaded, 2 outs, a roaring Fallon crowd, and even his alleged "GF" in attendance Chris Hoyt was able to do something he's never done before. Hit a ball over an outfielders head. Hoyt lined a ball over the center fielders head in shallow center field and it was off to the races. Hoyt galloped like a gazelle running for its life across the bases and slid into home with ease. Hoyt was 2-4 on the night.
Another note Hoyt is one hit shy of the illustrious 300 career hit mark. Unfortunately he was too gassed from running the bases earlier to put up good at bats later in the game. The quest to 300 continues.

The Palmer Club continues to stay red hot belting in another 17 runs on the night. Starter Chris "Flash" Anderson pitched 5 outstanding innings allowing only 1 run with 5 K's. Veteran "Dirty" Mike Stefaniak made his return to the mound throwing 2 innings to close out the game. The Palmer Club offense had contributions from all hitters 1-9. Alex Venditti reached safely on each of his at bats. He was 3-3 on the night with a double, 3 RBI's, and 3 walks. Palmer is looking to keep this relentless offensive attack going as they make their playoff push.

Coming into the last few weeks of the regular season things are starting to click for the red hot Palmer Club. James "Moose" Bussiere set the tone on the mound pitching 4 quality innings and only allowing 1 run. Palmer provided run support early as they smashed 10 runs in the 1st. Pat "Bones" Carbone came in for the second consecutive game in relief and threw 2 quality innings and Connor Rooney came in to shut the door in the 7th. The entire Palmer lineup contributed on the night with quality at bats and each player scored a run. Towering home runs came off the bats of Steve Gallagher and Jim Perron (2). Gallager's blast was sent to deep left field and the ball may never be seen again. Perron's first homer may still be going, it was last sighted gaining speed and altitude over the trees in right at Kelley Field.

Palmer pulls off a victory on an unusually smokey/foggy Monday night at Kelley Field. The team was led by a spectacular pitching performance by the ageless wonder JP Songin. On his way to picking up career victory #1 Songin went 5 dominant innings striking out 6 batters, allowing only 4 hits, and 1 run. With the bases loaded, 1 out in the 4th, and Songin beginning to tire; he was visited by the pitching coach and it appeared Songin's night was over. Songin barked at the coach saying this was his game and continued to strike out the next two batters to close out his night with a bang. Kyle Zembch went an inning and 1/3 and with the bases loaded in the top of the 7th Pat Carbone came in for the close. The Palmer Club was able to scavenge 4 runs on the night. Chris Hoyt was 3-3 on the night with a double, 2 runs scored, and an RBI. This inches Hoyt even closer to the illustrious 300 career hit mark (But who's counting?)

Grossman walks it off in the bottom of the 7th. Frankie Hernandez launched a two-out double deep into the RF corner to get it going. After an intentional walk to Retsyn Ootton, Kristyan Puyol-Genossar ended the night with a single to left field, scoring Hernandez.

The bullpen did a nice job in relief of Colin Stephenson, working out of jams and keeping things tied. The Law Firm of Musto & Musto threw a pair of scoreless innings in the 5th and 6th, and then Dylan McNary pitched a scoreless 7th, wiggling out of a based-loaded, one-out jam through a shallow fly ball and a clutch K.

Palmer Club rattles off it's 2nd consecutive win. Coming off of a late come back in the previous evening, Palmer kept the momentum going. The bats stayed alive and the entire lineup contributed with hits and walks. Chris "Flash" Anderson started the game and threw a solid 4 innings and Tony "Feet" Trafecanty came in for the remainder of the game despite an ailing foot injury he picked up getting out of bed funny in the morning. The gutsy performance earned him a save on the night.

MILESTONE WATCH
Chris Hoyt managed to get 3 seeing eye singles through the infield and is approaching the 300 hit milestone.

The Palmer Club allowed the Blue Jays to run out the line, then set the hook, and reeled them back in during a late night thriller at Kelley Field. The game got off to an odd start as there were some mound issues due to the inclement weather of late. The Blue Jays took advantage getting in 11 runs in the first 2 innings. In the 4th Palmer batters came too life; finally putting together some good at bats consecutively . 6 runs would score and the team batted around the full lineup. Palmer would add another 3 runs in the 6th and in the final inning with the fields timed lights minutes away from going off Palmer put together 4 runs. The final blow was a 3-run walkoff home run by Alex Venditti. He closed his eyes and swung with all his might. The ball rose into the humid air and was swept into a massive vortex of wind that carried the ball out to the bleachers in right center. The real star of the night was Palmer Club's "Crazy" Kyle Zembsh
