Great first start for Kevin Sinatra, combining with Driscoll and Siegel for the shut out.

On the first night of a historic merger between two long time rivals, Towne Club and Palmer, the newly formed team was able to muster up a solid win against the Boston Padres. Palmer (mostly Towne Club) came out swinging early as 8 runs were scored in the first 3 innings. Sophomore Park Leaguer Aiden Blake added a run in the 6th with a Kelley Field Home Run, a line drive to the deep abyss of left center field to mark the final tally. The real stars of the night were the Palmer Club's pitching staff, allowing only 1 base hit on the night. Tony Trafecanty got the win in a 3 inning effort with 5 strikeouts. The last 4 relievers each went an inning to solidify the shutout. James "Moose" Bussiere, Connor Rooney, Dylan Connors, and Dangerous Dave Larson. The newly formed Palmer Club contains an intriguing combination of young talent and some crafty veterans. Could be a dangerous team to face down the stretch.
