Its an Oliverias Steakhouse night at the Wood. EBKs own Mike Olivieria faced off against cousin Cam Oliviera of Malden.
On a full moon at Maplewood the Knights get off to a quick start by RBI singles by Luongo and Maynard in the 1st. Luongo was vintage like his YBL Cy Young winning days playing home games at Maplewood. Luongo struck out 8 Maddogs in 3 innings. Knights come up with 8 in the 3rd and no let up. Bennett pitched the last 3 and only let up 2 hits. Bright spot for Malden is a base hit by Argentsigner to break up a combined no no. |
