ATBC takes the first step out of hell, behind a quality start from Bobby Freeman. Bill Clang came in during the 4th with a huge stop to minimize a 4 run rally from the Braves, getting two quick outs, then Finigan came in to close the door. At the plate, the A's struck first, pushing 3 across early, and then waking up in the top of the 5th to take the lead for good. |
