Two good teams faced off on a sunny day at Maplewood Park with the host Bombers walking away with a 6-0 victory against the visiting Cambridge Spinners. George Ziegler and Jon Matos kept the potent Spinners lineup at bay, combining for a 1-hit shutout. Spinners ace Dan Blum pitched well but took the tough luck loss as the Bombers were able to capitlize on some early defensive miscues. Mike Borghi's 2-run double in the 6th put the game away for good, improving the Bombers records to 9-2-1.
