Hingham salvaged the day with this 8-5 victory. Dave "The Freak" Iava, following a complete game loss (4-2) in Game 1, started and threw 5 gutsy innings to pick up the win in Game 2. John Gainey (3-4, HR, 4 RBI), Matt Gainey (2-2, 2B, 3RBI) and Greg Rangnow (2-3, RBI) led the offense for the Tides. Pill hit a bomb double for Medfield. Didn't keep their side of the book for most of the game so can't give more M props.
