First of all big thanks to Dave Lightbody for getting the field not for him this game would not have been played Thanks Lights! Well played game one of the finals Waltham scored in the top of first Tides answered in the bottom to tie it at 1. From there it was a pitchers duel Barthel for the Tides and Wisner for The Sox. Waltham scored one in the 5th to take a 2-1 lead. Tides played some small ball in the 6th and managed to push 2 across to take a 3-2 lead Jerry Winters got the game winning hit with a 2 out double Tony Anderlionis scored the winning run. Great performance on the hill from Mike Barthel facing his former team he threw a complete game 2 hitter to pick up the win. Jason Wisner threw a great game for Waltham. Game two Thursday night at Maplewood should be another battle
