Colucci smashes a bases loaded walk off triple in extra innings
McNamara tosses 7 strong innings, while striking out 8 Beacons.
Agiorgousis would relieve McNamara to earn a 6 out win.
Beacon's Steeves pitched well all the way through the 9th, until he was relieved.
The Beacons took the lead on three different occasions, but the Sabers battled back.
Tommy Lenane hit a bases clearing triple int he 4th to tie the game.
Peguerro's double got the Beacons back in front in the 9th and they would add 2 more.
In the bottom half, Mogauro, Reynolds, Pizarro would all single to load the bases and Lenane would earn a groundout RBI. With two outs, after a Chapman intentional walk and down to their last strike, Colucci would launch a walk off bases clearing triple.
Agiorgousis would save a run on an overthrown ball from going out of play in the 8th, while making a fade away throw to third to putout the runner. |
