Somerville wins series 4-1 for their 8th consecutive Championship and 9th in 10yrs. The story line for the finals was great pitching,hitting and defense beats good pitching everytime. As Alibrandis once again jump out to an early lead posting 3 runs in the first with 3 doubles by the triplets(Scioli,DesRoches and Crisafulli)and an RBI single by Playoff MVP Bernie Driscoll. League MVP Marc DesRoches(3-0)in the playoffs, pitched a gem giving up just 4 hits and 1 earned run. Defensive GEM of the game was a diving catch in centerfield by Tom McDonough to save 2runs early in the game to keep Medford off the board.
