Brad Tardugno led the charge as he went 4-for-4 with a 2 run HR. Elliot Shea added 3 hits while both Tom Englehardt and Anthony Perry chipped in two hits apiece. Brett Remon also contributed with two hits including a solo home run. Pat Shanahan came in with the bases loaded in the sixth and was able to escape the jam by getting a ground out and a strike out. In the series, Shanahan pitched 5.1 innings striking out 13 batters. Malden will await either the Brighton Black Sox or McKay Club Beacons in the next round.
