The Reds and Tigers lock up in a pitcher's duel at Chelsea HS. David Callaghan and Eric Harvey were pretty much the only story in this one, with both pitchers going the distance and neither allowing an earned run. The difference in the game was the bottom of the 3rd when a leadoff walk to Nadolny and a defensive miscue allowed the Reds to have runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs. Nowlin drove in the eventual game winner with a single to left. The Reds threatened to bust things wide open in the inning but with one run already on the board and the bases loaded, Harvey recorded three huge strike outs to keep his team close. One run was all the Reds would need as Callaghan dominated throughout, not allowing a base-runner to get past 2nd and only allowing 1 hit.
