It took extra innings to break a scoreless tie between the Brewers and the Dodgers. A pitching duel, to say the least, was won by Jeremy Dalton, who pitched all 8 innings to earn the complete game victory. He allowed only 4 hits and collected 7 strikeouts en route to his first win of the 2007 season.

Shaun Farrar matched Dalton through 7 innings, allowing only 3 hits and no runs. But the Brewer offense finally opened up the scoring in the top of the 8th, with 4 consecutive base hits which produced 3 runs before an out was recorded. Marc Skipper relieved Farrar and quieted the Brewers, but the 3 run lead was enough for Dalton to secure the victory.

Always a battle when these two teams lock horns, the Brewers edge out the Bluefish 2-1 behind a solid pitching performance by first year man Chris Marsh.

Tony Iafolla led off the bottom of the second with a double and later scored on a wild pitch to take an early lead. Then,in the third, knowing that runs are hard to come by when facing Demers, the Brewers play a little small ball to scrape a second run across, going ahead 2-0.

The Bluefish came within 1 run in the sixth, but left the bases loaded as Brighton escaped the inning with a 1 run lead.

Marc Hordon then came in to close the game for the Brewers in the seventh frame. A good night of baseball at Rogers.

The fans weren't disappointed at all as it was decided in the bottom of the 7th with Somerville pulling out the win 3-2 on a HBP to drive home the winning run.
Both starters pitch very well, Szathmary for Alibrandis and Christina for the Brew Crew. The pen proved to be the difference in the game with a BIG time showing from Mike Rigarzo of Somerville striking out the side in the 6th with the bases loaded. Scott Rodgers pitch the 7th and earned his 1st victory for Alibrandis.
Web Gem of the night was pulled off on the very first batter for Somerville as Kevin White hit a laser to leftcenter and Muccio of Brighton made a G8 diving catch to take away extra bases.
Devin Davis had 2 RBI's for Somerville.
Somerville moves to 5-0.
