Harbor Point Dodgers 4, Brighton Black Sox 1
The Dodgers put together 5 hits in the top of the 7th plating 3 and Shaun Farrar pitched a complete game 2 hitter as Brookline defeats the Brighton Sox 4-1.
Farrar (4-5) dominated, striking out 5 and allowed only 1 run en route to his 7th complete game this season. 'Hoss' was effective, keeping his pitch count under 80 and walking none.

After a strikeout, 2B Andy Zides hit a single over the 3rd baseman, scoring Duffy, the eventual game winning run. The Dodgers kept hitting, and added another two runs on RBI singles by RF Gregg Smith and CF Jay Shatto. SS Jerrad Ryan had a big steal in the 1st to score on a Shatto infield single to grab a 1-0 lead.
JT Ross pitched great for the Sox, and allowed only 3 hits going into the 7th, striking out 8. |

McKay Club Beacons 7, Brighton Black Sox 5
The 24 year rivalry between McKay Club v Brighton Sox still has some steam. Beacons took an early lead 3-0, but lost that margin when Sox plated 3 in the 3rd.
19 year old Dean Sandanato held on thru 5IP, but was removed in favor of relief artist Ryan Thomas, who was shaky but affective to seal the win.
Dan Cioca has picked up the Club all year long. Dan went 3 for 4 with 4 RBI. Rob Linn continued his hot hitting: 2 for 4 & 3 runs scored. John Pagel had the game winning 2 out double plating 3 huge runs in the top of the 7th.
Never a dull moment between these two ball clubs! |

A see-saw battle left things with the score all tied up after 6. A leadoff walk to Pete John proved crucial as he stole second base and scored on a error to give the Rockies a one run lead. Jay Wisner came on in the seventh to shut the door and record his fourth save on the season. Rookie Rich Dumas notched his third win of the season in relief, following a strong starting effort by fellow rookie Tim Vogel on the hill.

Savin Hill Hornets 10, Brighton Black Sox 3
The dark sky and the weather reports threatened a thunder storm that didn't happen but a storm was unleashed by the Hornet in the opening inning.
The Hornets plated 7 runs as 11 batters came to bat in the top of the first.
But, the real story was the Savin Hill battery of (P) Jay "Doctor" Sholl and his battery mate (C) Kyle "Brownie" Browne.
The Doctor spun a gem of a game giving up one run on 5 hits thru six innings of work.
Brownie went 5 for 5 and 3 RBI and ended the game catching an agressive Black Sox runner attempting to steal 3rd on a wild pitch.
It was good to hear Sox coah Joe T's booming, chanting voice back in the 1B coaches box exhorting his teammates on. He is the best at it.
The Sox best effort at a comeback in the 5th was thawted by a scintillating 1-2-3 defensive play. |

Gary Moran chips in with a 2-4 performance driving in two and homering.
The Rockies continue to play excellent defense behind solid pitching to stay atop the division. |
