Matt Bishop, Mike Rigazio and Tim Dunphy combined to pitch the Cassell Club to it's first ever I.C.L. championship. Dunphy came in the game in the fifth inning with the bases loaded and 1 out and got an inning inning double play on a spectacular diving catch by Chuck Sheehan. Cassell had 6 players with 2 hits apiece, spearheaded by All Stars, Zach Golden, Josh Klimkiewicz and Jeff Paquette, who combined for 6 rbi's. Jay Olson had 2 hits for Watertown while Brian Shapiro pitched well in relief.

Tim Dunphy of the Cassell Club goes 5 innings to earn his second playoff win and Mike Rigazio stikes out 3 in the last two innings to earn his second playoff save. Cassell's all star right fielder, Tim Dempsey, had a home run, double and 4 rbi's, while Teddy O'Reilly was on base all 4 at bats with a single, 3 walks, 2 runs scored and had a stolen base.. Watertown's Matt McEvoy had 4 hits.

Cassell's Mike Parissi threw a brilliant, 3hit shutout with 11 strike outs. Teddy O'reilly had 2 hits, 2rbi's and a walk to pace Cassell while all star shortstop, Zach Golden had a hit, rbi and 2 walks in 3 at bats. Will Bissonette had 2 hits and 2 walks for Watertown

Mike Rigazio came in relief in the 4th inning and worked out of a bases loaded, 1 out situation with the scored tied and Cassell rallied to score a 5-3 victory eliminating the game Wakefield Merchants. Rigazio recorded 8 strike outs in 3.2 innings including 6 straight at one stretch. Tim Dempsey had 2 hits for Cassell and Taylor Von Kriedenberg had 2 for Wakefield.

Tim Dunphy of Cassell scattered 6 hits for his seventh straight complete game of the season. Jeff Paquette and Tim Dempsey led the Cassell hitting attack for the second straight game. Mike Parissi of the Cassell Club and Kevin Tidmarsh of the Wakefield merchants hooked up in a brilliant pitching duel in game 1 if the best of 5 series at Trum Field in Somerville. The game wasn't settled until the last of the seventh inning when all star Jeff Paquette singled and all star Tim Dempsey doubled to left center scoring Paquette.

Golden had 1 rbi to add to his league leading total and Klimkiewiczhad 3 rbi's including a double to the deepest part of Trum Field. Alex Sosnowski pitched well for the Americans.
