Jeremy Dalton kept the Bluefish hitters from narrowing the margin, scattering 4 hits and collecting 5 K's in 4+ innings of work. Brandon Brewer lead the Brighton offense by reaching base in 5 consecutive at-bats, going 3-3 and adding 2 walks.

Bluefish reliever O'Shea pitched well in relief of starter Lambrecht, quieting the Brewer hitters and giving his team a chance to cut into the Brewers lead. But the lead proved too much, as the Brewers held on for the victory.

Chris Demers struck out 14 Royals over six innings in a 6-0 win over the Chelsea Royals.

Jimmy Burns of the Royals frustrated the Bluefish offense for the first five innings. Then the Bluefish opened things up on a booming double by Sean Glavin that rolled under the center field fence negating a possible inside-the-park HR.

Chris Santosuosso and Nick Rossi each had two hits for the Bluefish.
