First, I would like to apologize to anyone I might have insulted. This was my first year managing a team and as you all know I had trouble getting players to show up for games. That made things difficult throughout the season. My promise to all the other managers and league officials, I will be alot more organized for the 2007 season. On the Championship: The Boston Braves played their hearts out and had 2 gutsy pitching performances from Steve Hare (Game 1) and Matt Najera (Game 2). The Boston Braves led by Brian Nolan are a classy team and there is no doubt in my mind that they will be in the postseason in 2007.

The A's jumped out to a 5-0 lead after the second inning on four straight singles and a triple by Joe Berolini. The Braves, however, stopped the onslaught and put six runs across in the fifth to grab the lead for good. Steve Hare went the distance for the Braves to get the win.
