Gregg Smith gets his first Yawkey League win with 2 strong innings against the Astros, striking out 3. The Dodgers welcomed back Keith Masterson for a game, while visiting the states from Ireland. He went 2-3 with 2 runs scored. Gerry Ramsey , Bryan Duffy, and Marty Whitmore also had 2 hits in the victory. Mike Sweeney came in and shut the door in the seventh to record a save.

The Dodgers win their 5th straight, knocking off a tough E. Boston team. Chris Arenda pitched very well for 6 innings, where Steve DeFusco came on in the 7th to close out the save. Keith Vera had 2 more hits today, where 5 other Dodgers had one hit each. A great finish to the season for Brookline, and this will be a way to build into the 2006 season.

Marty Whitmore shut the McKay Club Bulldogs down, striking out 8, and letting up 2 late runs. Duffy started things off with an RBI triple in the first, and the Dodgers never looked back. Jay Shatto went 3-4, with a run, a stolen base, and an RBI. The Dodgers welcomed back Keith Vera after a painful elbow injury had kept him sidelined for over 5 weeks, where V went 2-3, scored twice, and had an RBI. Gregg Smith also added a base hit as well.

The Dodgers explode for 10 runs in the top of the 7th to take the win against the Mariners. After 2 quick groundouts to start the inning, Brookline couldn't make an out. Gregg Smith wound up with the game winning hit when he hit a bomb into left (into the wind), driving in 2, and winding up with a double. Matt Donaghue also had a 2 RBI hit that inning. Marty Whitmore pitched a 7 inning complete game gem, striking out 6 in his performance.

Aidan Powers laced a single to score Chris Bucci with the go-ahead run in the 5th inning to support Leo Corcoran's complete game victory in a hard-fought 6-3 win over Brookline.

Marty Whitmore and Pat McGrath each banged out 2 hits for the Dodgers.

Chris Malloy led the A's with 3 hits, while Greg Lovely stroked a double and a triple to go with 2 walks and 3 runs scored. Leadoff hitter Matt Thayer reached base 3 times, scored twice and stole 2 bases.

Corcoran picked up his 4th win of the season, yielding 2 earned runs, walking 2 and striking out 7.

Rookie Scott Jamieson tossed a 1-hit shutout with 9 k's as the Al THomas Club defeated Brookline 6-0.

Andy Doyle's base hit in the first inning drove in the eventual winning run, while Greg Lovely went 3-3 with a rbi and 3 runs scored. Matt Thayer, Chris Bucci and Chris Malloy (3 rbi) each collected 2 hits for the A's.

Jamieson improved to 7-0 and was allowed to rest his arm after pitching a complete game.

The Braves' Pete Sheridan and the Dodgers' Chris Arenda both pitched gems in the second game of the doubeheader. A throwing error by Arenda in the first allowed the only run of the game. Arenda went the distance for the Dodgers allowing only 3 hits and the unearned run. Sheridan went 6 innings and was relieved by Josh Brooks-Ramsdell after giving up a leadoff double to Matt Donoghue in the 7th. After Donoghue was caught stealing at third, Brooks-Ramsdell recorded two strikeouts for his first save of the year.

After squandering a 3-run lead in the 7th, Bryan Duffy hit a 400 foot single to drive in the winning run in the bottom of the 10th. Zvi Dubitzky had a great game going 4-5, with 3 runs scored, and 4 stolen bases. Matt Donaghue had 2 base hits, and Marc Skipper went all 10 innings to record the win, while in the process not walking a single batter.

Sullivan and Wentworth both had 3 hits for the Braves, while Tracy, Oulette, and Hannon all had 2 hits.

Brookline pitcher Chris Arenda must be wondering where the truck that hit him came from as he was cruising along with a comfortabel 6 run lead and pitching a no hit shutout until the 5th.

5 walks, 2 hits, a hit batter and an error later Savin Hill had plated 8 runs to take the lead.

Savin Hill rookie pitcher Ricky Dolan pitched his way out of trouble in the 6th and 7th to close the deal and record his second win of the season.

Somerville completes sweep of home and home series versus a tough Brookline squad. Kevin White, David Scioli and David treska led the offense with 2 hits each and Marc Desroches added a huge bases clearing triple to put the game away in the seventh. John morse pitched a great game going 6 strong innings allowing 3 hits (all singles) and just 2 earned runs. Chad feetham closed out the game in the seventh. Somerville improves to 12-4 at the July 4th break.

Somerville's strong pitching carried them to another victory of the Brookline Dogders. Shawn Nadeau went 5 innings on 3 hit ball. Relief came by the way of Mike Powers and Paul Gately, recording his second save of the year. Farrar pitched a strong game in a losing effort for Brookline.
Dave Scioli lead the offensive charge going 3 for 3 and hitting his fourth homer of the year.

The Dodgers managed to find a way to win this one after being down to their last out in the 7th. Zvi Dubitzky hit a double with 2 outs, and scored on a throwing error to tie it up at 3 in the 7th. Sam Perkins knocked in Jerrad Ryan for the game winner, and Brookline was able to survive the heat (both from the weather and the Yankees).

Steve DeFusco and Mark Skipper pitched very well for the Dodgers, and Mays & Navia did a nice job for Cambridge.

The bats finally came alive for the Dodgers after a dismal past few games. Multi-hit games for: Gerry Ramsey (3-4 with 5 RBI's), Bryan Duffy (2-3 with 4 RBI's & 3 runs scored), and Jay Shatto (2-3 with 2 SB's & 3 runs scored). Shawn Farrar had a great outing, and Mike Sweeney was able to shut the door in the end.

A rain/lightning-shortened game was won by the Dodgers despite only getting one hit through the 6 innings. Smart baserunning, and key pitching was the ultimate difference in the game. Steve DeFusco & Chris Arenda were in trouble for most of the game, but both pitched themselves out of the jams each and every inning by getting key outs when they needed them. Hyde Park played well, but left a total of 14 men on base throughout the game. Dan Lambrecht had 6 strikeouts in his performance.

Dodgers win it in their last at bat. With 2 outs, Zvi Dubitzky singled, stole second, and was doubled in by Jay Shatto. Great pitching from Farrar and newcomer Chris Arenda kept Brookline right in the game. Shatto had 2 doubles, while Duffy had an RBI single, and Vera had a base hit as well.

McKay Club played a tough game, and Nee pitched very effectively striking out 7, while walking no one, and hitting one batter. Needham was 3 for 3 with 2 stolen bases for the Bulldogs.

Eamonn McDonough picked up his third win of the year, striking out 4 and walking none.

Buddy Hanley had a single, double and a walk and Jay Sablone knocked in the tying run in the top of the 7th with 2 outs. An errant throw from the center fielder allowed the winning run to cross the plate.

The Dodgers Farrar pitched a great game, going the distance.

The Bluefish finish their 4 games in 4 days on a high note, as they defeat the Brookline Dodgers 13-3 on Tuesday Night at Rogers Park. Steve Roberts was victorious in his 2nd start of the year, going 6 innings giving up 5 hits, 3 runs, while walking 5 and striking out 0. Offensively, the Bluefish were led by Al Becker's 3-4 (4 RBI), Steve Corda 3-4, and Omar Kennedy 2-5. Zvi Dubitzky led the Dodgers offense with 2 hits. Yankees take an early 2 run lead in the first thanks to joe tufo. They pick 2 more runs up in the 5th by the Caceras brothers. Great pitching by Bo Gillette who also helped himself up at the plate. The Dodgers start to stage a comeback in the bottom of the 7th against reliever Tim Keefe, but a great catch in foul territory by Danny Caceras ends the game and gives the Yankees their 3rd win of the season

Luke Guarino picked up his 2nd win of the season throwing a seven inning shutout. He struck out 11 batters and allowed just 1 hit, and 1 walk, as he cruised to victory. His counter part, Trevor Donelan also pitched well as the 2 of them battled through 4 scoreless innings. It wasn't until the 5th inning when Kyle Philson singled in 1 run and Dan Jalbert singled in 2 runs to plate the only runs of the game.

The Dodgers squeak one out and get their second win of the season. Marc Skipper pitched another great game scattering 2 hits, and striking out 4. Shaun Farrar came in to shut down the last two innings letting up only one hit striking out 3. Jay Shatto stayed red hot extending his hitting streak going 2 for 2 stealing 2 bases, and scoring 2 runs. Keith Vera also had 2 hits with 2 RBI's. Duffy, Ramsey, and Smith also had 1 hit a piece.

The Royals played a tough, tight game hustling for extra bases, and playing pretty good defense. Sciarappa pitched very well striking out 8, and kept the Dodgers off balance much of the night. Sueltenfuss, Haran, and Regan had the hits for the Royals.

Whitmore put in a valient effort for the Brookline squad and held the Dogs to 4 hits and 3 runs through 6.
