The Reds advance to the Bay State Championship with a 10-2 win over the Indians. Chris Allen threw 6 innings for the win giving up 1 run (0 ER). Carlos Mejia pitched the final inning.

The Reds jumped out front in the third inning. Derek Garabedian walked. Carlos Mejia then doubled. An intentional walk to Chris Chase put Jason Ellingson up who singled in Garabedian. Sean Magee then hit Mejia in on a sac fly.

The Reds bats ignited with 7 straight hits to score 6 runs in the 5th. The threat finally ended when Nick Bondola made two huge plays to end the inning.

Derek Garabedian, Carlos Mejia Chris Chase, Jason Ellingson, Sean Magee, and Mike Knell all had multiple hit games.

The Reds take on the winner of the Senators and Astros Friday evening.

The Reds took the first game behind the arm of Sean Magee. Magee threw the complete game giving up 0 runs off 3 hits and 8 Ks.

The game remained scoreless until the bottom of the fifth with 2 outs. Mike Ciano started the rally with a hit. Matt Bloomer reached on an HBP, Joe Dunne legged out an infield single. Carlos Mejia drove 2 in with a single. Magee and Chase reached via HBP and Chris Allen walked. Mike Knell capped the scoring with a 2RBI double.

Mike Ciano and Joe Dunne each had multiple hit games.

Magee fires a shutout.

For the second time in three weeks, Daryl Pina shut out the Dodgers to lead the Tribe to victory. Dan Petro was nearly as good, allowing just one run on an RBI single by Kevin Polansky.

All in all it was an extremely tight game with great plays on both sides. Congrats to the Dodgers on a phenomenal two year run as League Champs.

The Indians battled back to take the W from the Royals in a tightly contested game at Ryan. Down 4-3 in the top of the seventh, Seth Dion, Mike Everett and Josh Hale had three straight two-out singles to tie the game. The Tribe later scored three in the top of the 10th.

Daryl Pina picked up the win in relief for the Indians. Jason Kurtz pitched all 10 innings for the Royals in a gutsy performance.

Daryl Pina tossed his second shutout of the year to lead the Tribe over the Dodgers in Game 1. Brian Greene knocked in the first run of the day and scored the 2nd. Will Bock pitched well in defeat.

In a much closer game than the score indicates, the Indians beat the Grays under the lights in Chelsea.

Kevin Polansky took the W on the hill, pitching five innings while allowing just 3 hits and striking out 10. Mike Kiely had 2 hits for the Tribe. Paul Tagliaferri pitched well for the Grays.

In his last outing of 2005, Ryan Dooley stepped up in a spot start to hold the hot hitting Indians to 4 runs over 6.1 innings. Matt Coyne closed out the game striking out the last batter with the bases loaded and the tying run on third.

The die hard Indians made it close when Nick Bondola hit a 2 run home run to left center in the top of the 7th. Daryl Pina pitched 6 strong innings in a losing effort.

The Indians defeated the Giants behind a strong pitching performance by Jason DeVeau. DeVeau outdueled Steve Corda to pick up the complete game W. Mike Everett and Nick Bondola shared offensive honors with 2 hits and 1 RBI apiece.

The Tribe took the Fish 7-1 in a steamy morning contest at Fallon. Daryl Pina picked up the complete game win. Marco Abreu fell a HR short of the cycle and Kevin Faria had 3 RBIs.

The Indians beat the A's 15-2 behind a strong pitching peformance by Kevin Polanksy. KP struck out 12 over 5 innings of work. The A's runs were plated by a Santi Mazzeo HR. Daryl Pina also had a HR, his first in seven seasons with the Tribe. Not known for his prowess on the bases, the veteran barely made it all the way around alive.

Jaime Manciocchi fired a complete game to lead the Astros past the Indians in Game 2 and earn a split in the doubleheader. The 'stros relied on solid defense and timely hitting off of lefty Jason Deveau. Ron Viola, who three a CG in game 1, hit a a bases clearing double to give the 'stros the lead. Deveau pitched well in the CG loss and Josh Hale had 12 more hits in game 2 to up his total to 20 on the day.
