Larry Cibotti pitched well in defeat, going 9 and striking out 8. He kept Wayland in the game until a 3 run seventh that opened up the gap.
Jason Sergeant, Joe Depaoli and Jimmy Mc Elroy also added two hits a piece for the Sox.

Larry Cibotti pitched 8 strong innings for the win, and Sean Oconnor pitched a scoreless 9th as Wayland wins Game 1 10-3. The game was close for most of the game until Ron Biagi blasted a grand slam in the 7th to seal it. Brian Spadafino went 4-4, and Mike MacClary and Tom Keefe added 2 hits each. Leet and Whigham each had 2 hits for Waltham, and Vallerand pitched well for 6 innings. |

Ugly game. In a possible play-off preview Wayland wins 14-10. Mike Miceli pitched 5 innings for the win, and Kevin Locke pitched 4 innings for the save. Offense was led by Brian Spadafino who was 2-4 with 3 rbis, Jon Churchill and Kevin Locke had 3 hits each. Mike Ganley had 3 hits with 2 rbis before being ejected. Jason Sargeant continued his great year by going 4-5 with a double, and a long homerun. Leet also had 3 hits for Waltham. |

After unplayable field conditions at Breed, thanks to Alex Masel giving up his field and cutting a practice short, Wayland beats North Andover in a good game at Trum 4-1. Ramon Antigua pitched a gem in his first start of the year, throwing a complete game 2 hitter. Jon Churchill had 2 big hits to drive in 3 runs. Marr for North Andover pitched very well in the loss. |

Tough game all the way around, on a very hot day! Sketchy umping (only one ump) & also made it very interesting as well.
Tom Manning went the distance for the Storm to get the win. He also helped his own cause by adding 2 rbi's to the mix. Bo Finnegan tossed in a couple of hits as well (also 2rbi's).
Kevin Locke & Larry Cibotti both pitched well for the White Sox, surrendering only 5 hits all day. |

For Scituate Brendan Stone and Russ Goodman hit the ball hard all day long with 9 hits between them. |

Once again Larry Cibotti pitched a gem, going 8 innings and allowing 1 run. Mike Miceli and Sean O'Connor closed it out. Keefe, Antigua, Carlezon, and MacClary had 2 hits each, and Wolf knocked in a pair. Garofano for Medford pitched well until being struck by a line drive in the leg, and had to leave. We all hope the injury was not serious and that "Rhino" is back on the field soon. |

The difference was tough pitching by Rocky Pisa, who went the distance for the Mets, and a big ninth inning with back-to-back 2-rbi doubles by Faessler and Sabino. |
