Scituate Tides 10, Newton Red Sox 3

Newton Red Sox 0 0 0 1 0 0 2 3 9 2

Left Fielder Rick Swanson gets the emergency start and win, scattering 5 hits over 4 innings yiedling only one run. Rich Kisiel finishes the final 3 innings for (I believe) the save.

Offensively, the Tides were led by Brendan Stone, John Gainey, Rob Kisiel, and Larry Taglieri with 2 hits apiece.

Creighton and Marden Sr. had 2 hits each while Marden Jr. hit a bomb to left that would have been out of most ball parks...settling for a standup triple.
