Braves win the opener in a pitchers duel at EB Stadium.
Expos got on the board first in the 3rd on a I. Tatis triple and a subsequent 1st/3rd double steal.
Braves answered in the 5th capitalizing on a walk and an error to load the bases. Braves rookie Peter German then delivered with a single up the middle to score Klapes and Walsh.
Arms started for the Braves and got the win going 4 IP, 1 H, ER while Richie Pignone shut the door after that with 3 IP, 1 H, 4 K and striking out the last batter with the tying run on 3rd.
Archambault got the tough luck loss throwing a complete game, allowing only 3 hits and fanning 18.
