The ageless Mike Stefaniak (3rd decade in Park League) came in relief in the 4th, threw 3 innings and picked up the win. CJ Doskocil came in to slam the door shut in the 7th. Big hits came throughout the Towne Club lineup. Jordan Dedonato homered in the first to set the tone and triples came off the bats of rookies Aiden Blake, Scuba Steve Gallagher, and Slick Nick Comei. With the bases loaded in the 6th old and broken down Jim Perron managed to double with the bases loaded to bring in the go ahead runs.
*Injuries: Chris Hoyt missed tonight's action. Injury undisclosed. Hoyt was spotted again rehabbing in South Boston late night. Connor Rooney and Moose Bussier were also absent on the night. Equipment manager Alex Venditti was quoted saying their absence was a big hit on morale entering the night.

Jobu sparks the Towne Clubs offense! After an atrociously slow start to the season the Towne Club turned to darker forces to summon their bats to life. Jobu was pleased with the offerings of rum and a cigar; and rewarded the team with hits (referenced from Major League). Towne Club came out swinging, scoring 5 runs in the top of the first. Scored two runs in the second inning and tacked on 3 more runs in the 6th. Kyle Zembsch threw a near perfect 4 innings striking out 5 and only allowing 1 hit and 1 run. CJ Dosckocil came in relief for the 5th and crafty veteran "Dirty" Mike Stefniak came in for the 6th and 7th. Offensive standouts for the Towne Club: Steve Gallagher(3-4, with 2 doubles 2 RBI's) and Alex Venditti (2-4 with 1 triple and 3 RBI')Key Injuries: Former league MVP Chris Hoyt was out for a second consecutive game. Hoyt has been in bed nursing a "sore back" after a long Saturday of golf. Hopefully he'll be back before playoffs
