ADSL 3, E.I. Braves 2
Led by solid pitching and clutch hitting, ADSL beat the E.I. Braves 3-2 in game 7 to capture their second straight BPL Championship.
The Braves scored the first run and took an early 1-0 lead after two innings. ADSL answered with a run in the top of third on an RBI single by veteran Paul Cleary. The Braves countered with another run in the bottom half of the 3rd inning to take a 2-1 lead. However, ADSL struck again in the 4th as Matt Mckinley stroked a 2-run single which gave ADSL their first and final lead of the game.
Ben Gottesman, pitched 4.2 innings for the win allowing two runs on eight hits with 4 Ks. Bobby Tramondozzi pitched 2.1 innings of one-hit ball to pick up the save. Mike Smith pitched very well for the Braves, going the distance, allowing six hits but taking the loss.
ADSL won their 5th title in BPL history and for the second straight year won 3-2 in game 7 of the finals. |

ADSL 5, E.I. Braves 4
ADSL started the scoring off early on a solo blast by Eddie Riley (5th of playoffs). The Braves responded with a run of their own in the bottom of 1st, however, ADSL minimized the bases loaded no outs situation.
The scoring picked up again in the 3rd as Hector Coscione, Alex Joyce and Mike Smith all doubled to plate three runs and take a 4-1 lead. Bobby Tramondozzi again came up huge in relief for ADSL keeping the Braves off the scoreboard for the rest of the game (4 innings, 3 Ks, W).
Trailing by two runs, ADSL then took advantage of a Braves miscue and Matt Mckinley delivered a two-run game tying single in the 6th. ADSL carried the momentum into the 7th with a leadoff double by Kyle Boudrias, walk and game winning single by Andrew Elliott. ADSL delivered another comeback win and now holds a 3-2 series lead.

ADSL 9, E.I. Braves 5
The Braves jumped out to an early 1st inning lead on a 2-out two-run home run by Bill Uberti (2nd of finals). ADSL cut the lead in half with a solo shot by Eddie Riley (4th of playoffs).
The Braves added two more in the 3rd on a laced double by Hector Coscione. But ADSL responded on Danny Brown's 2-run dinger in the 4th to cut the lead to 4-3.
The 5th inning proved to be the dramatic inning as the Braves had bases loaded but Bobby Tramondozzi (W, 6K's) came in relief to strike out three batters and escape the big jam. ADSL loaded the bases in the bottom of the 5th with no outs and tied the game, then took the lead on a walk and 2-run error as well as added another to take the 8-4 lead. Each team added one more run to give ADSL the 9-5 win.
With the series tied at 2-2, Game 5 will take place Wednesday night, 7:45 PM @ Monan Park located at (BCHigh/UMass Boston).

ADSL 11, E.I. Braves 1
ADSL responded in a big way to pull back within one game in the best of 7 BPL finals series. ADSL's bats busted out fifteen hits and scored eleven runs with Eddie Riley (3-5, 3 RBI), Andrew Elliott (3-3, 2 BB) and Jason Leonard (2-5, 3 RBI) leading the way.
In a big spot, Ben Gottesman dealt all night on the hill for ADSL with an impressive 6 inning win. He allowed just one run, on four hits and struck out 11 batters without issuing a walk.
The Braves series lead is now 2-1 with game 4 scheduled for Tuesday night @ Town Field - 8PM. |

ADSL completes 3-game sweep to advance to finals for second straight year. The first eight ADSL batters reached and scored in the first inning highlighted by Eddie Riley's two-run blast (3rd HR of series). Four different ADSL players had two hits and two RBIs apiece.
ADSL pitcher Ben Gottesman picked up his second win of series with 4 strong innings on the hill allowing just one run.
Ted Dziuba and Chris DeGiacomo added home runs for the Athletics.

ADSL 5, Boston Athletics 2
For the second straight game of the series, ADSL defeated the Boston A's in extra innings. The A's had runners on all night with ADSL pitchers Zack Wensley and Ben Gottesman escaping multiple bases loaded jams. The A's got on the board in the 3rd on a solo shot by Chris DeGiacomo. ADSL answered in the 4th with back to back doubles by Elliott (2-3, 2B) and Leonard (3-4, 2 2B) to tie the game at 1-1.
In the 6th, Gottesman relieved Wensley as the Athletics loaded the bases with one out. A force out at home, followed by a strikeout, Gottesman escaped the jam. Again in the 7th, A's loaded the bases, this time with no outs-which Gottesman escaped with a force out at home and a hard hit double play line out to force extras.
In the 8th, ADSL started a two-out rally with back to back walks and a three-run blast by Eddie Riley to give ADSL the 4-1 lead which led to the 5-2 final. ADSL takes 2-0 series lead. |

Smith and Steeves are dominant in a classic pitchers duel. McLaughlin triples with two out in the bottom of the seventh and Joyce knocks him in with a line drive to right to take a 1-0 series lead.

ADSL 6, Boston Athletics 5
The Athletics jumped out to an early lead on doubles by Ted Dziuba (2-3, BB) and Freddi Carrera in the first. They added another in the 5th on another two-out hit by Steve Lambert.
ADSL answered in the last of the 5th with their own 2-out rally as Kyle Boudrias (3 RBI, HR) singled in a run, followed by a two run blast by Eddie Riley to take the 3-2 lead. In the 6th, the Boston As scored three runs on a big two-out error on a fly ball to the outfield to regain a 5-3 lead. ADSL did not go away as Boudrias cleared the fence for a two-run dinger to tie the ball game 5-5 in the bottom of the 7th.
In extras, Jason Leonard led off the bottom of the 8th with a double, followed by a sac bunt by Danny Brown and Int. walk led to a walk-off base hit by Matt McKinley for the comeback 6-5 win for ADSL.
Classic game 1 to start the playoffs. Game 2 Friday night, 8PM @ Town Field.
