Glantz walks to lead off in the bottom of the first. Joyce follows with a hit by pitch. Coscione crushes a deep fly ball to left for a triple, scoring both runners. Coscione then scores on a Sac-fly by Smith. In the 2nd, Haslam walks and steals second and is driven in on a Joyce line drive to center.
Smith goes the distance allowing 3 hits with no walks and 5 strikeouts.
Petrone, Hartery and Santosuosso had the hits for the Rockies.
Rockies lead the series 3-2.

Braves take game one of the Championship Series 6-2.
Smith pitched a complete game, collecting 10 strikeouts and walking just one.
Braves get on the board in the 1st on a Coscione RBI single after Glantz had walked, stole second and advanced to 3rd on a wild pitch. Rockies tie it up in the 2nd as Foote triples and is plated on a Santosuosso ground out. Braves retake the lead in the 3rd with back to back singles by Joyce and Coscione, each advancing on a wild pitch and McLaughlin scoring Joyce on a Sac-Fly to center.
Braves add some insurance in the 6th after five straight hits including 2 doubles and a Brendan Ryan 2-run homer down the right field line.
Bobby Foote led the Rockies offense going 3-3 with a triple and 2 runs scored.
