YBL Veteran Sam Cummings, throws a complete game to help the Sabers edge the Townies 2-1 in a playoff atmosphere at Rec Park.
The Townies would start off the game with singles by Santilli and Henneberger. They would later push Santilli across.
In the 3rd, the Sabers would even the ball game on aggressive base running by Flanagan. Colucci would hit a single to left. Flanagan would hustle to take third and capitalize as the ball got by the left fielder and score.
It would be a stalemate until the 7th. Creamer would hit a clutch leadoff single. The Sabers would eventually load the bases with 1 out. Colucci would hit a slow dribbler towards third, to plate Curtin for the walk off win.
