Mass Envelope/GM 11, Palmer Club 10
Another back and forth game with Mass Envelope/Grossman Marketing prevailing 11-10 behind the pitching of the Musto brothers. After a shaky start, Mike Musto battled keeping the ME/GM club in the game with Brandon Musto coming in in the 7th for the save for the second night in a row.
Down 5-1 in the third, Franz Strassmann (who was born during the Eisenhower presidency) scored the first run of the rally followed by RBI's from Perkins, Green and Kucharski.
Palmer would fight back and tie the game but ME/GM scored four in the 7th to seemingly put the game away, but pesky Palmer scoring three in the 7th ultimately falling short by one.
Nick Perkins had another monster night with three triples and a double; 5 RBI's and three runs scored. Connor Green had three hits and three RBI's. Pat McDonnell and Josh Goulet also each had triples giving ME/GM five on the night.
Ferrara, Alexopoulos and Aquino had multi-hit games for Palme |
