Corey McNamara pitches 6 shutout innings to help the Sabers blank the Black Sox 2-0
McNamara struck out 7 batters, letting up only 1 hit and no runs to earn his third win of the season.
The Sabers would get on the board first on a Colucci RBI fielder's choice to plate Pizarro, who reached base on an error to lead off the game.
The Sabers would grab some much needed insurance in the 6th. Lenane would lead off the inning with a double. Creamer would then hit a RBI single to score Lenane.
The Black Sox would threaten with the bases loaded, but Brundige would get Zamperelli to pop out to Colucci to end the game. Brundige earned the save and struck out 2 batters.

The Black Sox' Varakis singled in Donnelly in the 6th and Donnelly singled in Syliva in the 7th after Sylvia and Shah had hits to lead off the inning.

Right off the plane from Hong Kong, Sam Cummings tosses a complete game win
Cummings struck out 8, scattering 5 hits on no earned runs to earn his 3rd win of the season.
Brighton would get on the board first on a Saber miscue on a Latham batted ball.
In the 4th, Agiorgousis would draw a lead off walk and get to third base. When Chapman would hit a ground ball in the infield to tie up the game.
In the 7th, Brighton would threaten with runner at the corners and 1 out. Donnely would hit a grounder to Lenane at third, he would throw it to Creamer to get the out at second and Creamer would throw out Varakis trying to score from third at the plate.
In the bottom half, Colucci would hustle out a hit on a grounder to first, beating Ross to the bag. Quezada would follow with a single, to get Colucci in scoring position. To set up a Rice walk off single up the middle to plate Colucci.
Ross was the tough luck loser. |

EBK led the entire way but the Blacksox chipped away with 3 runs in yhe 6th and 7th to tie the game. Kenny Polanco hit a leadoff triple in the 7th to set the stage for Beckerman. Nicholson was the tough luck loser as he went the distance for the Sox.

Corey McNamara pitched a scoreless inning in the top half of the 9th to steal the win.
The Sabers got on the board first with a Johhny Cave 2RBI single to plate Ryan Flanagan and Tommy Lenane.
Brighton would capitalize on a Saber miscue and tie the game in the 5th on a Plank fielder's choice.
It would be a stalemate until the bottom of the 9th, when Lenane and Angelo Colucci would hit back to singles. To set up a walk off RBI single by Cave.
Cave had 2 hits an all 3 Sabers RBIs in the victory.

Offensively for the Sox Will Cousins and Ross Zamparelli each had three hits, while Tim Varakis and Joe Loynd each had two hits.
For Charlestown, Devin Santilli and Pat Garvey would each have two hits. On the mound Santilli would hold the Sox hitless for the final 3 innings giving Charlestown a chance to get back into the game.

Saints hang around for the win. A strong pitchers duel tonight - Saints would string together 1 run baseball over 7 combined from Aizenstadt, Tobin and B. Musto with the win. The Black Sox would ride Nicholson throwing a 2-hitter through six. Then came the 7th with a Saints lead off double from rookie Philip Gaines followed by a Hbp and a bunt single. Geagan would enter and get a quick K, but ultimately surrendered the L on a walkoff walk from Trevor Boyce. |
