Veterans Sorensen (3-4) and Pacino (2-4) account for all 5 WFP hits off Neal, and Sorensen's 2-strike, 2-out RBI single scoring Benoit in the top of the 7th proved to be the difference in a very well-played game. With 10 players and nearly everyone out of position defensively, WFP comes away with a Boston Tides-style win with a notable contribution from Chris Anderson keeping a stellar book. |

The Warriors got out to an early lead, showing off pure patience at the plate, racking up 4 BB and 3 hits in the first inning alone.
Aron Rossi picked up his first career RIIABL win pitching 5 relief innnings, allowing only 1 R (0 ER) along with 4 K. He also went 1-4 at the plate with a triple (2nd of the season) and a run scored.
Ryan D'Alessandro went 2-4 at the plate with 2 RBI, 1 run scored and a SB. Gervin Mujo, Jr. also had 2 RBI and 1 run scored in the ballgame going 1-4. |

Rathskeller outlasts ATC 5-3 in extras at Pierce. Hops pull off a bizarre 5-3-4-2 triple play in the 4th to get out of a jam and keep the score knotted at 1. The fish were able to squeeze across two in the 8th to tie it on 4 walks and 1 hit. The deciding play in the game in the top of the 10th was pure trickery and speed as John Gauvin drew a pickoff attempt at first while Ryan Geremia broke from third to steal home on a close play at the plate to score the go ahead run. Josh Sokol (7 inn 1 run) and Skyluar Neal (9 1/3 inn 3 earned) battled all day on the hill. Geremia, Blancarte, Goodwin and Abarr with multi hit games for the Hops, while Edison and Nelson did so for the Marlins. |
