A match-up of Brighton aces as JT Ross and Mike Smith face off at Rogers. Ross would get the better of the match-up going 6 allowing 3 runs and striking out 6 but ended up with a no-decision. Greeley earns the win with a scoreless 7th.

Braves go up 2 in the 3rd on RBIs by Robb (2-5,R,3RBI) and Botelho (2-4,3RBI). But the Sox jump all over Smith in the 4th sending 11 batters to the plate, collecting 7 hits and scoring 7 runs.

With Ross out after 5, the Braves chipped away in the 6th and 7th. Their 2-5 hitters scored 7 runs in the 2 innings. And after tying the score in the 7th, the Braves had bases loaded and no outs when Ryan Bere lined a single between 3rd and short for the walk-off win.

Coscione (5-5,3B,4R,SB) and Uberti (3-3,2BB,2 RBI,SB) were the offensive stars for the Braves. For the Black Sox it was Beulke (4-5,2R,RBI,SB) and Collins (3-4,2 RBI,R).

Braves clinch the 6th playoff seed after Malden and South End loses.

Revere hands the ball to rookie Andrew Wells. Wells escaped some early jams and settled in nicely. Scattering 6 hits striking out 8 batters en route to the complete game shut out.

The Rockies offense was anchored by Chris Hartery who went 3-3 on the day. In the 3rd he would get Revere on the board with his second homer of the season. Bobby Foote keeps rolling posting a 2-3 day, scoring 2 more runs, and hitting a long double. Kyle Rufo and Pete Ogerri contribute with 2-3 days as well.

All around stand out Alex Wong made a sensational grab in right field.

For the Sox, Cather gets 2 knocks.

Rockies move on to the Dodgers Tuesday night in Savin Hill

Sabers come from behind to walk off and defeat the Black Sox 2-1 in game one of a double header at Recreation Park

Chris Dion went all the way scattering 6 hits, on 1 run while striking out 5 Sox to earn the win

The Sox would strike first with a RBI by Hopwood to break the dead lock in the 6th

The Sabers would threaten in the bottom half of the 6th but fall short

In the 7th with one out, Jon Chapman would draw a clutch walk and Joey Zampell would come in to pinch run. With 2 outs Ryan Flanagan would hit a single to right field to advance Zampell to third. Derek Pizarro would then drop in a clutch RBI single to score Zampell to tie the game. Angelo Colucci would get hit by pitch to load the bases for Kevin Luciano who would then hit a walk off single into the gap in right center

Flanagan and Pizarro had 2 hits for Stoneham

Hopwood had 2 hits for the Sox. Nicholson with the tough luck loss

ATBC bears down and gets the win in a 3-2 battle at Adams Field. The pitching staff was great getting out of a number jams. The A's bats were effective answering when needed. Overall, it was a great team win.

Sabers come from behind to defeat the Black Sox 8-3

The Black Sox would strike first with a Sac Fly from Sudbeck in the 1st. The Sabers would come back and tie the game on an RBI triple by Luciano to score Botarelli and Colucci would follow with an RBI single to take the lead.

In the 2nd the Sox would add 2 more to take the lead once again.

The Sabers would battle back yet again in the 5th. Luciano and Colucci would reach base before Lenane would lace an RBI game winning single.

The Sabers would add 4 insurance runs in the 6th to secure the win.

Greg Dubela would pitch 3 shutout innings in relief to earn his 6th win of the season.

Colucci led the offense with 3 hits and 2 RBI. Botarelli, Adams, and Lenane had multi-hit games.

Beulke, De La Cruz and Hopwood had 2 hits for the Sox

The Knights made their way to the tennis courts of Rogers Park to face off against the Black Sox. Vic Mendez made his debut for EBK as the Sox countered with Matt Nicholson. The Knights struck first as Marty Dunlap stroked a double that scored Jose Paulino and the Knights grabbed 2 quick runs early. That would be all the offense the Knights would need as the EBK pitching staff struck out a total of 15 on the Knight holding Brighton to just 1 hit. Mendez, Shawn Carlson and Jon Shepard would combine for the win. Marty Dunlap was 4 for 4 with 3 doubles extending his hit streak to 18 games!! Dunlap added 3 RBI, 1 run and 1 SB. Kenny Polanco chipped in with 3 RBI of his own.

Jared Rooney threw five innings to pick up his second win of the season. Joe Shebertes pitched two scoreless innings to close out the game.

After being held scoreless for the first three innings, the Sox were finally able to string some hits together and score some runs.
Kurt Beulke and Will Baker collected three hits each, while Cam Owens adn Joe Shebertes each hit their first career YBL home runs.

On the mound for Waltham, Adam Chochrek would battle through five innnings before giving way to George Ziegler. Offensively Isaiah Berg and George Ziegler had two hits each.

Black Sox end a two game skid with contributions through out the lineup. De La Cruz, Loynd, Arsnault, Collins and Varakis each chipped in with two hits a piece.

J.T. Ross went five innings to pick up his third win on the season. Joe Shebertes pitched two scoreless innings to close out the game.

Luke Geoghegan would take the loss despite battling through five innings. Tenney and Mendleson each had two hits for the Saints.

The Braves bats finally wake up and Smith bounces back on the mound as the Braves beat the Black Sox and end a 4-game losing streak.

Smith went the distance allowing 4 hits with a walk and 8 strikeouts. In the 3rd, Uberti doubled into the woods to score Glantz and Smith then singled in Uberti. Braves add another in the 6th on a DeFusco single plating Robb who doubled. Coscione (1B), making his return to the Braves after a stint in the FCBL, and Sammarco (BB) lead off the 7th, Joyce blasts another ground rule double into the woods, scoring Coscione but keeping Sammarco on 3rd. Humphrey then delivers another pinch hit single scoring both runners to cap things off.

Cather, Cousins, Ross and Shebertes had the hits for the Sox.

The Knights hosted the Brighton Black Sox at "The Stadium" and welcomed back old friend John Tangherlini. "Tango" faced off against Matt Nicholson and it was a pitchers duel early featuring power vs finesse. The Knights broke out in the 4th inning for 5 runs capped by a laser beam 3 run home run into the left centerfield gap courtesy of Kenny Luongo. It was the 2nd homerun in as many games for Luongo who has raked in 7 RBI in the last 2 games. Tangherlini had a no hitter into the 5th inning broken up by an Adam Sudbeck solo homerun. Shawn Carslon and Mike Hersey combined to finsh the game. The Knights pitching staff held the Black Sox to only 1 hit on the evening.

After trailing 3-0 and 4-2, the Sox would plate three in the sixth to take a 6-4 lead.

Black Sox withstand a late comeback attempt by Revere and hold on for the win.

Matt Nicholson pitched six strong innings to pick up his third win of the year. Kevin Hopwood's two run double in the second and Billy Cather's two run triple in the fourth proved to be the difrence.

Andrew Wells would take the loss despite pitching six solid innings. Chris Hartery (2-4), Chris Santosuosso (1-5), Sean Glavin (1-2) and Tony Iaffola (1-3) all had hits for Revere.

The first away game of the season for the Dodgers, and the second win in a row. Dave Clarke led off the game with a single and stolen base and was knocked in by Jeff Cady for a first inning score. Clarke and O'keefe both have singles and both score in the seventh for a couple of needed insurance runs.

That would be all the offense needed to secure the victory for Brendan Huber. Last year's 10 game winner records his first win of the season. Huber has his best stuff going perfect for the first 3 innings until he hit Shah to lead off the fourth. However that would be the only base runner until the bottom of the seventh. Hopwood led off the inning with a ground ball in the hole between SS and third. O'keefe had a great effort to get to the ball and make a strong throw to first, but the runner beat it out by half a step to break up the no hitter. The following at bat Cather hit a screaming ground rule double into the shrubs in rig

Eddie Samp records the first win of 2015 for the Dodgers going 6 innings allowing 3 runs on 5 hits. The Dodger bats came alive for the first time this season in the first inning putting up 6 runs on 7 hits against Rooney who was having some control issues to start the game. Brett O'Keefe closed out the game for the Dodgers in his YBL pitching debut.

For the Black Sox, Cather smoked a ball to right in the second inning that Dave Clarke was just barely able to jump up and catch. He made up for the elevation later on by hitting a 2 run bomb to right center in the 6th. Shah reached base in all 3 plate appearances and scored 2 times.

Black Sox win their third straight scoring four runs in the bootom of the sixth. Matt Nicholson went the didstance to pick up his second win of the seaosn. Nicholson would scatter five hits, walking one and hitting one batter in completing this shutout.

Sam Cummings would not allow a hit through the first five innings striking out seven and waling none.

The Sox would score their runs in the bottom of the sixth. Joe Loynd led off with a walk. Tim Varakis was hit by a pitch. Justin Miranda reach on an error attempting a sac bunt to load the bases. Kurt Beulke would drive in the first run with a single through the drawn-in infield. Will Cousins would drive in two with a broken bat single up the middle. The last run would score on a fielder's choice by Kevin Hopwood.

Ryan Flanagan, Stefan Botarelli, Angelo Colucci, Joe Parlow, and Joshua Creamer collected hits for the Sabers.

Black Sox walk off with the 7-6 win.

The McKay Club took an early 3-0 lead with two runs in the first and one in the second. The Black Sox scored twice in the fourth and took a 5-3 lead in the fifth on a bases clearing double by Tim Varakis.
In the sixth, a clutch two out two run single by Jack Owens would tied the score, only to see the Sox regain the lead on a RBI single by Bill Cather. In the top of the seventh, Pat Coffey singled home Matt Lavanchy to once again tie the game. In the bottom of the seventh, Varakis would lead off the inning being hit by a pitch. Will Baker would sacrifice him to second. On the play Varakis would continue on to third as it was left uncovered. Aqib Shah would reach after behing hit by a pitch setting the stage for Beulke's walk of single.

Beulke and Varakis had multiple hit games for the Black Sox. Foley, Lavanchy, Coffey, Danielson and Owens had multiple hit games for the McKay Club.

Jonathan Matos picks up the win on the mound going 4 innings, giving up only 1 hit, a line drive homerun by Cather in the 1st inning. Joey "Eyeball" Ortiz and Izzy Velez pitched the final 3 innings giving up only 1 hit.

Offensively the Astros were lead by Moises Maza's 3 hits, Junior Tejada's 2 RBI, and Julian Alvarez' 3 RBI.....capped off by an amazing line drive bomb to left center field at Jim Rice Field.
