Corey Walker, in his first career post season start was thrust into the spotlight in the deciding game 3. Walker responded with 7.2 innings of dominant pitching, before giving way to fireman Sam who avenged a game 1 performance, going an inning and a third to pick up the save. Edison Mercado's missle scored 2 to give the Reds a 2 run lead. Diego Campos smoked a double to tie the score at two, but made a costly 2 base throwing error to allow Chris Testa to score the go-ahead run.

With the score tied after 8 innings, the Marlins took the lead in the top of the 9th with Nick Karelekas and Diego Campos each getting a walk, a sacrifice bunt by Alex Hurley, and consecutive HPB of Colin Costa and starter Scott Mello. The Reds then tied the game in the bottom of the frame when Ryan Pangborn was HBP, advanced to second on a passed ball, and doubled home by Pat Dorr. The teams played a scoreless 10th. In the top of the 11th, Campos led-off with an infield single and scored on a triple by Hurley. Costa's sacrifice fly scored Hurley, and they would add 2 more runs in the inning. Skyluar Neal earned the win in relief after entering in the ninth.

In game 1 of the series, it quickly became a battle of the bullpens as both starters were touched for runs early. Randy Garcia earned the W for the Reds, firing 3 gutsy innings of 1 run ball while the Reds were able to get out to a sizable lead. Finlay O'Hara took the ball, with 2 innings in relief. The Reds offense, powered by multi-hit efforts from Shepherd, Mercado, Garcia, Gomez, & Cesino gave the Reds a lead comfortable enough for old wily veteran Graham to toe the rubber for an uneventful 9th.

The Marlins broke-open game 2 of the doubleheader plating 7 runs in the 5th inning. Rey Martinez had 2 hits and scored a run while Diego Campos contributed a hit, an RBI, and scored 2 runs. Scott Mello earned the win with a complete game effort including 2 PKO. The Warriors' Jackson Gervais collected a double and triple.

The Marlins scored first when Bob Rodericks led-off the third with a base hit, advanced on a single by James Reyes, and scored on Nelson Morales' hit. White Fire answered with 2 runs in the top of the fourth on a Cam Newell single which plated Bryan Curran and Andy Devereaux. In the bottom of the sixth, Angelo Santos walked and James Reyes bunted for a base hit. After Nelson Morales sacrificed, Diego Campos delivered a 2-RBI double that would complete the scoring. Skyluar Neal earned the win on a complete game with 10Ks.

Great pitchers duel between leftys. Neal from the Marlins with 6 K's while Aponte from the Sharks with 7 K's, both throwing a complete game.
The East Prov guys were up on the score 1-0, but the Providence team never gave up. Bottom 9th, 1 out, man on 2nd base, 0-2 the count ..... Costa hits a 2-run walk-off HR to end it!

The Marlins got their first run in the second inning, as Nick Karalekas doubled, advanced to third on a ground ball, and scored on a wild pitch. They plated 2 more in the sixth when Nelson Morales led-off with a double and scored on a single by Diego Campos, who eventually came home on a Karalekas ground-out. Wescott got on the board in the seventh. Nick Reay doubled home Milan Adams who had singled earlier in the inning. Jeff Burress pitched well for Deans recording 11 Ks in a complete game effort.
