Opening Day at Woodlake Park went well for the RI Warriors, as they won 9-8 against the East Greenwich Coyotes.

Led by their new manager James Roberto, the Warriors were able to keep their spirits high throughout the whole game. The bottom of the 6th was a huge inning for them as they batted around the order, scored 7 runs, and took back the lead. Eduardo Pimental hit a 3-run HR to Left-Center, and was a big reason for the Warriors' success today with 4 RBI's.

Bobby D'arezzo looked great on the mound with a 80% strike to ball ratio. A few infield hits and bad hops later on the infamous Woodlake infield, and he unfortunately racked up a few earned runs through 5-plus innings of work. Daniel Muncy, besides giving up a solo HR to CF, had 2 solid innings of relief and was able to pick up today's Win. Brandon Budlong got the 2-inning save, and flashed some serious moves with 2 pickoffs at 1B.
