In a classic pitchers duel between James Fiske & Bill Graham, the Reds stole the victory to spoil a great effort turned in by Fiske. After being held scoreless through 6, Sam Vincigue--Vinciparmigiano delivered a 2 out, 2 RBI single to right after Pangborn & Dorr reached on singles earlier in the inning. That was all the Reds needed, as Randy Garcia took over on the mound, firing 2 scoreless out of the pen to ensure the victory.
