The Palmer alumni came down to Kelly field Monday night with brooms in hand, and a trending Tony Trafecanty didn't disappoint. Trafecanty saved his best performance of the year for the closeout game of the series. Tony went the distance for Palmer, throwing darts all night while limiting a solid hitting Towne Club to just 2 hits in the contest.

Bobby Foote used the big stage to showcase his talents and impress the dozens of onlookers with his Swiss Army tool kit. Foote went 1-2 with 3 RBIs and a BB on the night, showed off his baseball IQ with a delayed steal in the 2nd, and made a knee-skinning catch in left in the 5th, proving to his teammates he's willing to lay it all on the line for a chance at a 'ship. Foote capped off a 5-run 3rd inning for Palmer by launching a homer down the right field line that tore the chlorophyll right off the trees lining the field and Palmer never looked back.

Eric Williams channeled his inner Eli Porter to pick up the win for Palmer. E-dub tossed 6 strong innings, allowing 1 run and scattering 6 hits while striking out 6. When reigning Park League manager of the year JP Songin informed Williams he would be turning the game over to the bullpen for the 7th, Williams gave him a puzzled look that could only be interpreted as "but I'm da best mayne"

Once again, Curran (2-3, 3 SB) and Phelan (3-4, 2 RBIs) set the table for Palmer, navigating their way around chin music to reach base a combined 8 times while scoring 6 runs in the contest. The Palmer bats came alive in the 2nd inning. Palmer pounded out 5 hits and scored 5 runs in the frame, with 4 different Palmer hitters picking up RBIs in the process. Fearless leader JP "t-rex arms" Songin had a big night for the boys in black, going 3-4 with 3 RBIs.

Kyle Ritchie worked thru early control issues to pitch a scoreless 7th for Palmer.
