Great battle 'til the end by both teams. A's got ahead on the top 9th but the Sharks took it back on the bottom of the inning for the win. With 2out; Martines started it with a single, Krajewski get HBP, Costa brings 1 run in with a 2B, and then Basilio brought the winning run with a single. Pena striked out 13 Blackstone guys in 8innings while Martinez get the W on his 1st time on the mound for the Sharks!

German takes the W throwing 4 strong innings, with no runs, to wrap up the game. Offence was lead by Basilio(3-3, 2R,2RBI) and McClarnon(2-4, 2 2B,2R,2RBI) from the Providence team.

Aponte (9 innings, 2 runs) and German (6 innings, 1 run) pitch well in the loss for the Sharks. John Jacobellis is the star for the Hops going 6 for 6 with 5 stolen bases and threw 3 innings of scoreless relief.
