DORCHESTER, MA... In the last regular season game for the Knights and the division on the line they sent veteran Kenny Luongo to the bump in hopes of winning their second consecutive Yaz division championship. Kenny Luongo did not disappoint going the distance and holding the Nationals to no hits through 6 and 2/3 innings. With 2 outs Dave Silletti served one up to the opposite field over 3rd basemen Kenny Polancos head for the first hit of the day for the Nats. Luongo would then retire the next batter for the complete game one hitter. That victory put the Knights in first place for the time being as they would have to scoreboard watch in hopes that the A's would beat the Saints for the Knights to clinch the 4 seed. The A's defeated the Saints 6 - 0 and the Knights win the division!! The Knights pounded out 13 hits on the day capped by a Brian Maynard moonshot homerun. Wilson Mercado was 3-3 on the day.
