Bulldogs defeat Dodgers 7-5 in a thriller at Ronan Park. Mark Dorso pitched a gutsy 5.2 innings to keep the Bulldogs alive. Evan Hafferman was able to get the key out in the 6th inning to keep the scored tied at 5 going into the 7th. Then with the bases loaded and 2 outs in the top of the 7th Mike Oliveira delivered a 2 run double to score Aramis Velez and Rob Marks.This put the Bulldogs up 7-5. Marks had a huge day going 3-4 with 2RS, Double and a stolen base. The Dodgers didn't go down without a fight. They loaded the bases with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th, but Troy Thibodeau reared back on a 3-2 count and struck out the last Dodger batter swinging to preserve the victory and keep the Bulldogs playoff hopes alive.

Offensively Politsopoulos, Rodriguez, and Weldon had 1 hit each, but the biggest hit came off the bat of...who else....Chris Deane! WALTHAM, MA.....The Knights and Bulldogs traveled to Brandeis University to finish a suspended game from June 16th at Pine Banks due to a bank of lights being out. The Knights led 2 - 0 coming into the top of the forth inning after a strong performance by newcomer Shawn Carlson and relief pitcher Corey Laliberte. Branden Eaton relieved them starting this suspended game and pitched great after shaking off the cobwebs in the 4th inning. Eaton went the distance earning his 2nd win of the season. Offensively for the Knights Jose Paulino has 2 hits and drove in a run and Wilson Mercado stays hot with 3 hits and 2 RBI in the contest.
