Black Sox push across two runs in the top of the fifth and make it stand to pick up the win.
Jared Rooney picks up his first win of the season pitching into the sixth without giving up a run. Sam Kennedy-Smith came on in the sixth with runners on second and third to induce a popup, then record the final three outs to pickup his first save.
Offensively for the Sox, Bill Reichmann and Cam Owens each collected two hits.
Matt Bernstein would go the distance for Forest Hills, pitching very well despite picking up the loss. Alberto Vazquez had two hits for Forest Hills.

Sam Cummings pitches 5 2/3 soliding innings to pick up his first win of the season, as the Sabers defeat the Force 13-4
Cummings scattered 6 hits letting up 2 earned runs, striking out 8 Force batters.
Greg Dubela came in relief to close the door, striking out 2 batters of his own.
Offenseveily Travis Adams led the Stoneham offense. Adams had 3 hits, 2 doubles, and 3 RBIS.
Angelo Colucci also had 3 hits, with a double, RBI and scored a run.
Jon Susko hit a 2 run homerun in the 6th.

Savin Hill Hornets 10, Forest Hills Force 6
Eight different Hornets get hits tonight. Freddi Carrea (triple) and KC Murphy (HR) get extra base hits. Carrera (2) Murphy (3) and Pat McClay (2) all had a multiple rbi night Eleven free passes by Force pitching, five to start the game was a big part of the picture.
Nick Young went the distance for the Hornets giving up only 2 earned runs. He struck out 8 and walked just 1.
Although they had trouble finding the plate, The Force did do a bit of their hitting on their own tonight, pounding out eleven hits. Frander Baez enjoyed a 4 for 4 evening. Johan Villalona had 3 hits including 2 doubles. And lead-off hitter E.J. Estrada homered in the 3rd to get the Force on the board. |

Beacon Hill Dodgers 10, Forest Hills Force 1
With a non-existent bench and a skeleton crew, the Dodgers got back on track against the free-swinging Force. The Force put the first 4 pitches in play in an aggressive attack, but leading to their only run. Meers, Silver and Von Harden each contributed 2 hits.
For the 2nd straight outing, Chris Michienzi put up another solid effort, keeping all damage minimal by not allowing any free passes. The Dodgers offense was patient, which resulted in a total of 23 batters reaching base, led by Jerrad "BALL! BALL!" Ryan (2r, 2h, 2rbi, 3sb), Stanley Whitmore (2h, 2rbi), Zach Dubin (1h, 3rbi) and Christian "Teen Spirit" Hoxsie (2r, 2h) who also added a great sliding catch to end the game.
This match-up also saw the much-anticipated debut of the Dodgers' manager Patty "ThatsNotASockInMyCrotch" McGrath at first base. |

Savin Hill Hornets 10, Forest Hills Force 8
They all can't be pretty. Hornets come from behind to win an error filled walk-fest.
After saving a game the night before, Mike Isaia keeps the Hornets as close as his defense let's him for 4 innings. That was just enough time for the the bats to join the game. Savin Hill pounded out 10 hits over the final 3 innings.
Trailing by 3 runs entering both the 5th and 6th innings, Alex Criscuolo started both rallies with lead-off singles. Nate Hodor had the big bat on the night with 3 hits including 2 doubles, 3 rbi and 2 runs scored. Henry Spitzer continues his hot hitting with a big 2 rbi single. And Max Sterenson had 2 hits. The last ended up being a game-winning 2-rbi single, giving him 3 rbi on the night.
Peder Von Harten and Matt Bernstein each had 2 hits for the Force. DH, Pat Yee was 3 for 3. |

Stoneham Sabers 7, Forest Hills Force 2
Chris Dion pitches 6 strong innings and the Sabers defeat the Force 7-2.
Dion pitched 6 solid innings letting up 7 hits on 2 runs, striking out 6 Force batters.
Sam Cummings would come into relief and close the door, striking out one batter.
The Sabers got on the board early with an RBI single by Angelo Colucci, that plated Mike Robinson.
In the fourth Colucci led off with a single and later would score on a Jon Chapman RBI single. Robinson would then blast a 2 RBI triple to put the lead at 4-0
Stoneham would tack on 3 more insurance runs in the 6th. After a pair of singles by Jake Zelnick and Jon Chapman, Robinson and Travis Adams both drove in a run. Chapman would also score on heads up base running play.
Chapman, Colucci, and Robinson all had a multi-hit game. |

East Boston Knights 11, Forest Hills Force 1
The Knights faced off against the Forest Hills force looking to sweep the season series between the 2 teams. The Knights sent Ryan White to the Hill and the Force countered with Paul Szydlowski.
Ryan White looked sharp in his first ever start for the Knights. Hitting his spots with good velocity he shut down the Force for 3 innings. The Knights offense took a couple of innings to get started only scoring 1 run through 3 innings. That changed in the 4th and 5th scoring 6 and 4 runs respectively opening this game up to take an 11-1 lead.
Sean Hannon picked up the win for the Knights pitching just one inning while Sean Perkins earned his first save of the year by pitching 2 strong innings to close the game. Hannon is now 6-0 on the season.
Offensively for the Knights Jose Paulino and Matt Rodriguez had 3 RBI a piece. The Knights are now 17-4 on the season and winners of 6 straight.

Villavona had 2 hits and threw out 3 runners for Forest Hills. |
