Brighton Braves 10, Medford Maddogs 0
Martins (6 IP, 2 H, 6 K) loses a no hit bid with 1 out in the 6th and Uberti homers in back to back games to propel the Braves to a win over the Maddogs, clinching a playoff berth for the Braves for the first time since 1983.
Uberti hit a two run shot to right in the 3rd, followed by a Shaughnessy grand slam in the same inning to put the game out of reach. Schools continues his hot streak at the plate collecting 3 more hits, 2 runs and 2 RBI.

Woody picks up the win, retiring 11 in a row at one point and allowed 2 hits in 5in of work.
Gary Moran leads the Rockies offense with 5rbi's and a home run into the pool. Chris Hartery chips in with a homerun to left as well.
Luis Rodriguez (2-3 2b rbi) and Sean Glavin (3-4 2r, 2 2b) have multi hit games. |

Stoneham Sabers 9, Medford Maddogs 6
The Sabers defeat the Maddogs 9-6 in extra innings, to sweep the day/night double header to clinch a spot for the postseason in just their second year!
Rob MacDonald got the start for Stoneham, MacDonald pitched 5 innings letting up 3 earned runs on 6 hits, striking out 2 Maddogs.
Ryan Flanagan came into relief pitching 4 solid innings, striking out 5 batters and letting up only one earned run on 2 hits to earn the win.
Mike Robinson led off the game with a first pitch homerun into the courts in rf.
In the fifth Travis Adams and Angelo Colucci would both have a pair of RBIS.
In the Top of the 9th with 2 outs, Robinson would hit a clutch RBI single up the middle to score Nick Schauwecker. Jon Susko would add 2 more on what would be the game winning 2 RBI triple to center.
Maltzan had 3 hits for Medford. |

Stoneham Sabers 4, Medford Maddogs 2
Stefan Botarelli pitches 5 solid innings and the Sabers defeat the Maddogs 4-2 in game one of a double header.
Botarelli makes his first career Yawkey League start on the mound and doesn't disappoint. He let up only 2 hits, and struck out 5 Maddogs to picks up his 1st YBL win.
Sam Cummings came in to close out the game, striking out 2 batters and picked up his 3rd save of the season.
Angelo Colucci and Jake Zelnick would lead of the 4th with a pair of singles. After a Rob MacDonald sac bunt, Schauwecker would hit a 2 RBI single. Schauewecker would later score.
In the fifth, Colucci would hit a deep sac fly to RF to score Jon Susko.
Dunlap hit a HR for Medford.

McKay Club Beacons 7, Medford Maddogs 3
Drew Tambling smashed a Grand Slam HR - his league leading 6th HR of the season to ice a rainy day victory for the McKay Club. Jake Spiak also added a 2 run HR (his first) to make it a 7-3 score. Rain halted the nigth's activity at McConnell in the bottom of the 5th. jack owens chipped in for an RBI triple in the 3rd.
Brian Mylett tossed well and allowed 3 runs after 3 walks for the victory. |

Savin Hill Hornets 4, Medford Maddogs 3
Sean Callahan's 2-rbi single gave the Medford Maddogs a 3-2 lead in the 5th. In the bottom of the inning, Hornet starting pitcher Ed DeArias (5IP, 3ER, 7K, 2BB) led off with a single. Pinch-runner Ben Reedy stole second and scored the tying run when Eddie Connelly ripped a single down the left field line.
Hornet reliever Matt Conroy (2K) retired all six batters he faced in the 6th and 7th
In the bottom of the 7th Henry Spitzer worked a lead-off walk. Dave Clark bunted him over to second bringing up pitcher Matt Conroy who was intentionally walked to set up the double play. However Eddie Connelly also walked to load the bases. With an 1-2 count Alex Criscuolo was able to squib a slow roller toward the mound. The great speed and jump by Henry Spitzer running from third had a lot to do with the rushed throw from the pitcher, which was not abled to be handled by the catcher for the game winning run.
